Jesuits Professed Perpetual Vows on August 16, 2008

Brett B. McLaughlin and Eric M. Studt are from the New England province, Rodolfo Casals and Matthew J. Prochilo, from the New York province and Luis C. Infante from the Maryland province.

 

 

Brett McLaugllinBrett B. McLaughlin comes from Pittsford, NY, where he attended Pittsford Mendon High School. At the College of the Holy Cross he earned his B.A. in history, political science and religious studies. After Holy Cross, Brett attended the U.S. Air Force Officer Intelligence School at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, TX. Brett traveled extensively in England while stationed overseas as Chief of Mission Analysis. He has taught religious education for four years and has worked as a parish intern with the Jesuits at Storrs, CT and at the Church of the Transfiguration in Pittsford, NY. Bret will begin First Studies at Ciszek Hall in New York.

 

Eric StudtEric M. Studt grew up in Gardner, MA. He attended St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury, MA, and the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. After his graduation from Holy Cross with a B.A. in philosophy, Eric was awarded a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship to study Latin American liturgical music in Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico. Eric has most recently worked as a faculty member at the Nativity School of Worcester where he taught Spanish, religion and music. Eric has also been an organist and director of music at several parishes in the Worcester area. Eric will begin First Studies at Berchmans College in Munich, Germany.
