New Novices welcomed into the novitiate of St. Andrew Hall, Syracuse, NY, on August 23, 2008

 

Keith MaczkiewiczKeith Maczkiewicz from the New England province was one of ten men accepted into the Jesuit Novitiate of St. Andrew Hall, Syracuse, NY, on August 23, 2008.

Keith Maczkiewicz, 26, from Long Island, NY, has a B.A. degree in history, with a minor in American studies and education. He holds a Master degree in education from Providence College and the PACT Program (Providence Alliance for Catholic Teachers), a two-year post-graduate service/teaching program. One of five children, Keith grew up in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. Keith’s work experience includes positions at Cathedral High School in Springfield, Mass. as a teacher of religion and as a campus minister and at the University of Scranton where he was a campus minister. Keith has accompanied students on service trips to Ecuador, Jamaica, New Orleans, and Philadelphia.
