George Williams, SJ, Professes Final Vows

On July 31, 2009, the Feast of St. Ignatius, Fr. George T. Williams, SJ, pronounced final vows at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Campion Center in Weston, Mass.

Fr. Myles N Sheehan, SJ, Provincial of the New England Province, presided. Fr. Thomas J. Regan, outgoing Provincial, Fr. Paul D. Holland, SJ, rector of the Campion Jesuit Community, and Fr. Richard A. Deshaies, SJ, provincial assistant for formation, concelebrated the liturgy. Fr. Williams is a prison chaplain. Ignatius Behind Bars, an article about his prision ministry was featured in Jesuits magazine.
